We take care to ensure that personal information provided by users is treated confidentially. Processing personal information is done in accordance with the stipulations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This privacy and cookie statement is exclusively applicable to Olbico’s services.

This is the Privacy Statement of Olbico BV, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce’s Trade Register under company number 30249747, regarding the services distributed by Olbico, either directly or through third parties, and regarding the website www.olbi.co or associated websites such as www.olbi.co and www.olbi.co This Privacy Statement relates to the data processing operations performed by Olbico by means of its website.
Olbico respects the privacy of all clients and users of its website. We ensure that the personal data with which you provide us is treated confidentially. We process personal data in a way that complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The types of data we collect
We collect the following types of personal data through our website:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the name of your company;
- any information you enter into an empty field in a contact form;
- any information you provide us with by means of a chat message or email;
- your IP address;
- your username (if you have one);
- data relating to your clicking and surfing behaviour;
- your type of browser;
- the type of device you use.
Purposes of our data processing operations
- We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- concluding and executing agreements and managing the relationships arising from them, including engaging in activities designed to increase our client database;
- providing a chat function on our website;
- contacting you when you have requested us to do so;
- sending you our newsletter;
- providing you with the opportunity to apply for a job with us.
We will retain your data for as long as you continue to be an Olbico client, or as long as we are legally required to do so. For instance, Belastingdienst (the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration) requires us to retain tax-relevant data for seven years.
When you fill in a contact or registration form on our website or send us a chat message or email, the data you submit will be retained for as long as is needed, depending on the nature of the form or the contents of your email, for the purpose of answering and dealing with it in full.
When you apply for a job with us, we will retain your contact details, letter of application and CV for four weeks after the end of the application procedure, or for another year with your consent, which will allow us to contact you in the event that a position for which you may be suitable becomes available in the future.
Website use and visitor data
We monitor general visitor data on our website. This may involve the recording of your computer’s IP address, your username (if you have one), the time at which you requested specific information, your type of browser and your type of device. This data may be used for statistical analyses of our visitors’ website use. Furthermore, this data is used to optimise our website’s performance. We endeavor to pseudonymize and anonymize this data to the maximum extent possible. We do not provide such data to any third parties.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’ (small text files installed on your computer) to help our website analyse how our clients use our website. Olbico has signed a processing agreement with Google. The data generated by the cookie concerning the way in which you use the website (including your IP address), is transmitted to and stored by Google on its servers in the United States. The last 8 digits of your IP address are masked. This means your IP address is anonymous so data can never be traced back to you or your IP address. Furthermore, no data is shared with Google or other parties from the Analytics account of Olbico.
Google uses this data to monitor how you use the website, draw up reports on the website’s activity for the benefit of the website’s operators, and provide other services with regard to website activity and Internet use.
We do not share your personal data with third parties without your prior consent, unless this is required for the execution of the agreement, or unless we are permitted or required to do so by law. We may provide your personal data to the following companies, which process this data on our behalf:
- External ICT service providers;
- The parties that provide the cookies (see below).
We have written agreements in place with these companies regarding how your personal data is to be handled and what they are and are not allowed to do with it.
In addition, we may share your personal data with third parties who independently determine how to deal with your personal data. We have no say in how these third parties use your data since it is up to them to decide exactly for which purpose they require the data and to whom they will provide it in their turn. This personal data will only be processed by these parties if you make it available to them yourself, or if its processing is required for the provision of the service.
If you have given us prior permission to do so, we will keep you updated on our special offers, special discounts and other types of services through our newsletters. Prior to sending you messages of a commercial nature (i.e., advertisements), we will ask your permission to do so. You can withdraw your permission at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email we send you. This does not affect the legitimacy of our data processing operations prior to your withdrawal of permission.
We take appropriate security measures to limit the misuse of, and any unauthorized access to, your personal data. These measures include the following:
- SSL/TLS connections;
- logical access control involving strong passwords;
- target-specific access restrictions;
- organizational measures;
- monitoring of granted powers;
- periodical security system tests.
Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter
This website features buttons that will allow you to promote or share pages on social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. These buttons are created by means of code which is supplied by LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter themselves. Among other things, this code will install a cookie (see below).
Please read the privacy statements issued by LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter (which may be subject to regular revisions) to find out what these companies do with your personal data which they process using this code. The parties in question are located in the United States. They are Privacy Shield-certified, which means that we are allowed to transmit personal data to these parties located outside the EU.
Recommendations and testimonials
We show personal recommendations and testimonials provided by satisfied clients on our website. We will post your testimonial, along with your name, on our website, provided that you have given us prior permission to do so. We will retain this data for two years after you posted the testimonial, or until such time as you delete it. If you wish to edit or delete your personal recommendations or testimonial, please contact our Customer Service department by submitting the response form.
Data collection publicly available information
Olbico collects publicly available (online) information with the olbicobot. Olbico seeks and indexes publicly available information in much the same way major internet search engines do. Olbico does so at its clients’ behest. If you wish to receive more information on what these clients do with your personal data, please consult the relevant party’s privacy statement. Changes to this Privacy and Cookie statement
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy and Cookie Statement. Any changes we make will be published on this website. We therefore recommend that you check this Privacy and Cookie Statement regularly to ensure that you are aware of the latest amendments.
Your rights with regard to your personal data
If you have any questions on what kind of personal data we have collected regarding yourself, please do not hesitate to get in touch. You can find our contact details at the bottom of this Privacy and Cookie Statement. Under current privacy laws, you have the right to:
- receive an explanation of what types of personal data we process and how we use this data;
- inspect the specific personal data that we have collected on you;
- have any errors with regard to your personal data rectified;
- have outdated personal data erased;
- withdraw your consent;
- object to a specific type of use of the data;
- the transfer of data (‘data portability’).
Please ensure that you make your identity clearly known to us, so that we, in turn, can ensure that we do not edit or delete the wrong person’s data.
